The new MFCSP program goes live on 10/01/2016. This program replaces the original program named ‘Family Caregiver Support Program – Title III (e).
Agency staff may have created saved report definitions in SAMS to help with their management of the caregiver program. This document explains the steps to create a new report definition based on the previously saved report definition. In simple terms, you want to locate your saved report definitions and then copy them into new definitions. Then you can modify the new report definition to reflect the new program.
In our example, we use a previously saved report based on the Agency Summary Report. The report definition is named “EOEA MFCSP Test – FY2015.” This report is filtered to show services delivered under the “Family Caregiver Support Program” between October 2015 and September 2016. We want to create a new report for services delivered under “MFCSP” between October 2015 and September 2016.
- Open SAMS
- Click on Reports in the upper right.
- Locate the Report Title in the upper part of page.
- Locate the Report Definition in the lower part of the page.
- Open the report definition.
- Click on Make A Copy
- Name Your New Report Definition.
- Modify the report filters to reflect new program and dates.
- Click Save and Close.
